Request for AWS Credits / Temporary Account for Amazon Nova Hackathon

Hello Team,

I am currently participating in the Amazon Nova Hackathon and I’m working on integrating Nova into my project. Since my AWS account setup is incomplete due to not having a credit or debit card, I wanted to ask if the hackathon provides AWS credits or temporary accounts for participants.

Could you please let me know if there are any credits, vouchers, or special access available so I can proceed with Nova integration smoothly?

    Hi Team / Admins,

    I registered for the hackathon and filled out the AWS Credit Request form earlier this week, but I haven't received the promotional code yet. I've checked my spam and promotions folders as well.

    I’m really hyped to start building my project using the Nova models, but I’m currently stuck at $0 and can't trigger the Bedrock API. Could you please check if the latest batch of codes has been sent out or if there’s an issue with my request?

    Hi Navaneeth,

    Thanks for your interest in this email. I just checked and your request was approved. Slalom (an AWS partner managing student sandboxes) is delayed but they will send you an email next week. Please note there will be two emails, both requiring action from you in order to activate your student sandbox. Don't forget to check your spam folder as well. Good luck!

    I recently applied for the AWS credits for the hackathon and am currently waiting for approval. While preparing, I attempted to complete my AWS account setup, but I’m encountering an issue with the payment method verification step, which is preventing full activation of the account and access to services like Amazon Bedrock.

    Since the hackathon form asked for the AWS-associated email, I wanted to clarify whether:

    Credits will be applied directly to our existing AWS accounts once approved, or

    A special signup/activation link will be provided for participants.

    I just want to make sure I’m setting things up correctly and not creating any conflicts before the credits are issued.

    Hi Dimpho,

    If your credit request is approved, you will get a code to redeem. The redemption will apply credits to an existing account. Good luck with your project!

    Hii Team,
    I registered for the hackathon & also filled out the form & it's already more than 72 hours & still i didn't get the credits or sandbox email. May I know when I get this?
